Invite an ancestor to Thanksgiving

It is 1621, and we are with 9th great grandfather, William Bradford and 10th great grandfather William Brewster, as they let down the Mayflower’s ANCHOR in Plymoth Bay. It will be a hard year. Only 52 of the 102 passengers will survive the cold and disease. What anchored them in these trying times? In Plymouth Massachusetts, there towers a monument to the Mayflower founders. There is a feeling here that makes you stand a little taller and be a little stiller. These are the words carved into the stone.
