In traveling across Massachusetts, we found ourselves close to Warren Massachusetts, and decided to stop in on the birth of my 3rd great grandmother, Catherine Hickey.
We loved the online library advertisement, so we sat around waiting for the opening hour.
The historic atmosphere excited my curiosity and made me want to discover all the hidden secrets there. I asked if there was an archive section. They had a small shelf, and although I found nothing on grandma’s family, I could recognize the value of that shelf. I now have a new question. Did grandma’s parents die there? Libraries are part of the family history journey. What libraries could you visit?
